Rebecca Rose Helms, MA, CAS

Licensed Psychological Associate & Health Services Provider - PA

Rebecca Helms is a Licensed Psychological Associate whose comprehensive professional experience spans over 20 years in varied settings. Her tenure as a School Psychologist in public schools focused on providing psycho-educational evaluations, developing targeted interventions and strategies, and offering counseling services to children. She was also involved in 504 and IEP development with parents and staff. In addition, Rebecca spent two years teaching multiple subjects at an accredited private school.


Beyond the K-12 education system, Rebecca has also distinguished herself in higher education as an adjunct professor, imparting her knowledge and insights to college students over several years. Adding to her credentials, she has extensive experience providing psychological testing services to adults and private schools. As a homeschooling parent herself, she understands first-hand the unique challenges and rewards of this educational path.


At Anchor EEC, Rebecca's private practice, she harnesses all these experiences to aid children, adolescents, young adults, and even adults. Her services focus on identifying and addressing the sources of emotional, behavioral, or academic concerns, crafting customized strategies to help individuals and families navigate and overcome these challenges.


Rebecca completed her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and Sociology at the prestigious University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She then attained her Master's Degree and a Certificate of Advanced Study in School Psychology from East Carolina University. Her blend of professional expertise, personal experience, and academic excellence uniquely positions Rebecca to deliver personalized, empathetic, and impactful psychological services.


Rebecca enjoys giving back to her community by supporting local youth organizations and academic endeavors.
